| San Francisco : 1936 Mary Blake arrives at Blackie Norton's Paradise gambling hall and beer garden looking for work as a singer. Blackie embarrasses her by asking to see her legs, but does hire her. She faints from hunger. Nob Hill Socialite Jack Burley and Maestro Baldini of the Tivoli Opera House see her singing and offer her a chance to do opera, but Blackie has her under a two-year contract which she sorrowfully stands by. Later, when he makes up posters featuring Mary in tights, she does leave for the Tivoli. Blackie gets an injunction against Burley, but knocks out the process server when he hears Mary's performance as Marguerite in "Faust". She asks her to marry him and she agrees to go back to the Paradise as his kind of singer, but Blackie's childhood chum Father Tim intervenes. After Blackie slugs the priest, Mary leaves. She is soon the star of the Tivoli and Blackie's place is closed down. She sings a rousing "San Francisco" on behalf of the Paradise at the annual "Chicken Ball" and wins the $10,000 prize which Blackie throws to the floor. As she storms out of the hall a terrible rumble betokens the famous San Francisco earthquake. Buildings collapse, streets split wide open, the city burns, the army dynamites whole sections of town. After staggering around in a stupor Blackie finds Father Tim and the two of them find Mary at a Salvation Army camp. Backed by hundreds of others, they look out over the ruins which are gradually replaced by the shining new city with a reprise of the title song.  CAST Clark Gable ... | Sexandroide : 1987 Director: Michel Ricaud French made ultragory trilogy of short but nasty exercises in sleaze and horror. A guy uses voodoo to get revenge on a old lover. While she's at a club, he plunges needles into her doll like replica's nipples, crotch, eyes, you name it. Of course she ends up looking like a pin cushion. Next up features a girl who is forced into a dungeon where she plays around with fire, whips herself into a frenzy and finally, a monster shows up to do the same. He then ties her up, puntures her nipples and yanks out an eyeball! They end up in love. Finally, a dead man returns to life at a funeral home and proceeds to bite a mourner on the neck. She ends up becoming a vampire and does a 5 minute disco dance in the nude! 'A three Segment gore/porn anthology horror, it as no dialogue and is as low budget as they come but with such an odd tone you stick with it. 1st story is about a voodoo doll being used on a woman who's in a bar toilets, she ends up being sliced and finally hung but not before losing all her clothes and after oddly enjoying some kind of bloody sexual penetration. 2nd story is very Grand Guignol feeling and set on some kind of alter and involves a goth looking woman who strips and does a few fire tricks, then a ghoul of some kind comes in and sticks spikes into her boobs, finally gouging her eye out and then cutting its own guts out. 3rd and oddest of all is a woman sits mourning over a coffin only for the male corpse to transform into a vampire, leaping up and then turning her into a vampire. She then starts to do a very over long naked disco dance to the tones of Tina Turners What's Love Got To Do With It. Finally after what feels like about 20 minutes she joins the vampire in his coffin for him to stick out a do not disturb sign. There's no given reason or any attention to the plot as to why anything is going in this but it doesn't stop it being entertaining in the crudest possible way. Recommended to Tina Turner loving trashploitation fans which I know there's lots of you.'
